Discovery
Scuba Diver

Fun for first time divers! A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.

Prerequisites:
  • Must be 10 years or older
  • Must be in good health and complete the PADI medical questionnaire (this will be sent to students upon course purchase)

Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first step in becoming a certified SCUBA diver! The course includes three parts: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Dives, and Open Water Dives. Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment.

Upon successful completion of the PADI Open Water course, you will be certified to dive on your own and able to rent SCUBA gear, rent or fill tanks, and book dive excursions around the world.

Prerequisites: 
  • Must be 10 years or older
  • Medically fit to SCUBA dive
  • Must be able to swim 200 meters nonstop and must be able to float and tread water for 10 minutes 
  • Must provide your own mask, snorkel, and fins

Advanced
Open Water

This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It's titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.

You'll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives - Deep and Underwater Navigation - and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.

Prerequisites
  • Open Water Diver Certification (from any certified agency)
  • Must be 12 years or older
  • Must provide your own mask, snorkel, fins, knife, dive light, and slate

Emergency
First Response

Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.

Course participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment. EFR courses meet the CPR and first aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course and all professional-level ratings. 

Rescue Diver

Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.

Prerequisites:
  • Must have Emergency First Responder certification (or equivalent such as BLS) valid within the last two years
  • Must be 12 years or older
  • Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or further qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive

Become a
Professional Diver

Divemaster

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader, take charge of dive activities, and mentor other divers. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. As a divemaster you'll supervise scuba diving activities and assist with scuba classes. PADI Divemaster is the first step in your professional diving career.

We offer a specialized 4-week course which allows you to meet all requirements to begin your career as a Professional Diver.

Prerequisites:
  • You must be a certified Rescue Diver.
  • Minimum of 40 logged dives are required to start the course and 60 logged dives are required to earn your Divemaster Certification.
  • CPR and First Aid certification within the last 2 years
  • Medically evaulated and cleared by a physician within 12 months
  • 18 years or older

Instructor

The Instructor Development Course consists of both the Assistant Instructor course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor Course. With these tools you will learn to conduct all PADI core courses. You'll be able to organize and present information, conduct skill development sessions and control open water dives.

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors are the most sought-after dive professionals around the world because they've completed the program that sets the standard for training dive professionals.

You earn a PADI Instructor rating through hard work and commitment, but you're rewarded with a job that lets you share incredible underwater adventures with others - transforming their lives for the better and enriching yours.

Prerequisites:
  • You must be an Open Water Scuba Diver who has been certified for at least 6 months
  • Minimum of 60 logged dives are required to start the course and 100 logged dives are required to take the Instructor Exam
  • CPR and First Aid certification within the last 2 years
  • You must also be an Emergency First Response Instructor to become a certified Open Water Instructor - but luckily we offer the one-week EFRI course as well!
